Terms of Service
Please read this before engaging Build Advisory Co.
Document review service
The Build Advisory Project Report is a practical construction risk review only. The report is prepared from the documents and information provided by the client and is intended to identify apparent construction risks, unclear scope, missing information, unresolved decisions, coordination concerns and matters that may require clarification before signing.
The report does not constitute legal advice, financial advice, engineering advice, architectural advice, certification advice, quantity surveying advice, valuation advice, building approval advice, code compliance advice or a formal building inspection.
Build Advisory Co does not approve the contract, certify the design, verify structural adequacy, confirm regulatory compliance, determine legal rights or obligations, provide cost certainty, guarantee builder performance, guarantee project outcome, or advise the client whether or not to sign a contract.
Version one of this service covers NSW residential projects only, and is a remote document review with no site visits. Uploading a document does not mean it has been reviewed, only the review scope confirmed with you is covered. The service runs in three stages: the Project Map (paid first, yours to keep regardless of whether you continue), the Project Review (starts once you confirm scope and pay the report balance), and the Project Report (your final written deliverable).
Building inspection service
The building inspection service is a physical, on-site inspection of a property, delivered as a written report. It does not constitute legal advice, structural engineering certification, or a guarantee of a property's condition beyond what was reasonably observable at the time of inspection. A pest inspection is not included by default at any level, and can be added at additional cost where agreed in writing before the inspection.
Pricing is not published on this site. Scope and price are confirmed directly with you, in writing, before any inspection is booked.
Pricing, both services
No prices are published on this site for either service. Any figure quoted to you directly is inclusive of GST unless stated otherwise, and is confirmed in writing before work begins.
Your responsibility, both services
Any item raised in a report should be reviewed and confirmed with the relevant qualified professional, including your solicitor, builder, architect, engineer, certifier, quantity surveyor or other specialist adviser as required. You remain responsible for all decisions made before signing a contract or completing a purchase, including whether to proceed, renegotiate, obtain further advice, or enter into an agreement.
